Drew,
You are definitely no longer our little baby Drew. You have grown into such a big boy this year! This year wasn't quite as hard on you as it was Jack since you were only 2 1/2 when your daddy had to go to Afghanistan. You took it in stride and tried to cheer Mommy and Jack up when we got sad about him being gone. You went from simple sentences to big long coherent thoughts in almost an instant. You have a kind and caring heart and love to tell your family that you love them. You have the best hugs and kisses to give and aren't stingy with them either.
You have started to fall in love with sports just like your brother. It is so fun to watch you try to keep up with Jack. You have become better friends this year and do almost everything together. It's so fun to watch you two play together.
It seemed you were potty trained so quickly once we stopped traveling for the summer. You enjoyed your first experience with camp so much that I signed you up for early preschool. You had no problem being left alone and became a leader for the other kids in your class that were having a hard time.
You have such a silly personality and love to make others laugh. You are so adventurous and seem to have no fear. I love this about you but it is also a major stress in my life as I am constantly worried that you may hurt yourself.
You have such a kind heart and are genuinely concerned about others. Everyone who meets you tells me you are an old soul, I've thought the same since you were born. I can't wait to see your little personality develop over the next year!
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
