Roaring Camp Railroad

Jack got to go to the Roaring Camp Railroad with Gamma, Papa, and Mommy. Jack was having a great time until we got on the train and it blew it's whistle. Jack thought that it was too loud.

My Little Pumpkin!

In front of the cross-section of a Redwood.

Jack was very excited that the train was coming!!!!!!
It's here!!!!!
This is how Jack spent the entire 1 hour and 15 min ride.

This is why!
Took a break from ear plugging when the train stopped to do a switchback. He actually looks like he's having fun.
At the top of Bear Mountain, they had a pumpkin patch and all of the kids got to pick out a pumpkin to take home.
Jack was excited about the pumpkin, but when I told him he had to get back on the train he screamed, "I want to go home!" at the top of his lungs and got teary-eyed. We got him back on the train and into Mommy's lap and he actually enjoyed most of the ride down.
It was a very pretty ride.
Blowin' some steam.
Gamma and Papa let him pick out a train in the gift shop and all was right with the world again for Jack!

San Francisco Oct. 10th 2009

We took a "hop on hop off" bus tour of the city on a double decker bus. Drew had a blast. He loved the wind.
Jack sat with Daddy on the bus
Drew got to ride with Mommy
The Golden Gate Bridge was foggy as usual and the ride over it was freezing! The highlight of the ride though was Drew standing in my lap, pointing his finger in the air in the "number 1"sign (his new favorite thing to do and will do on command) screaming at the top of his lungs in pure joy! He loved the ride. Jack's head was buried in Daddy's lap behind us. I can already tell that Drew's going to be my little dare devil.
After the bridge ride.
The "Full House" shot. These houses are 3 million a piece at least. Look at the view they have out the back!
The Trolley cars

Jack having fun at lunch
Alcatraz

The seals at Pier 39. Notice all of the people lined up on the dock behind the seals. The Blue Angels were flying that day and it was packed. Bad weekend to stroll San Fran but we survived:)

Big Sur Oct. 9th 2009

We took a trip to Big Sur with my parents and the kids on Fri. Oct. 9th. We drove the coastline and stopped to take pictures of the famous Bixby Bridge. That's my Dad on the edge of the cliff getting a better shot. Mom and Dad with the bridge in the background

Having lunch right on the Pacific!

Some nice scenery for lunch.

You forgot your pants!

Today I was leaving for physical therapy on my knee. I have tendonitis on my left IT band. As I was coming down the stairs, Jack ran up to me and said, "Mommy, you forgot your pants. You put your pants on?" I have to wear shorts for physical therapy so while I wasn't wearing pants, I definitely had on my shorts.

I love my dinosaur!

Drew can sit here for 15 minutes at a time sending the balls flying through his fun dinosaur toy. He really gets a kick out of it when it comes out the mouth.
