March 25th, 2013 Spring Break Staycation Day 1- Swimming at Claude Moore

We are trying to do one fun thing per day this Spring Break.  Today was swimming.  Tomorrow a movie day!
It was snowing outside the whole time we swam.  It's cold outside the pool!

Jack braved the big slide for the first time and loved it!

March 24th, 2013

Drew was enjoying himself at his friend Mackenzie's 4th birthday party with a pajama theme!

Spring Fling- March 23rd 2013

The kids with the Easter Bunny

Jack got an egg painted on his face

Drew was stalking the Easter Bunny.  We were all out on the playground and I lost him.  He went back inside and I found him all curled up on the Easter Bunny's lap!

They ran into their friends Julian and Colin at the playground.  Collin and Drew are in the same preschool class and Jack and Julian played basketball together.

Geode Smashing- March 22nd 2013

Drew's awesome preschool teachers sent home a science experiment package for the kids to do over Spring Break.  He chose to do the geode smashing one first:)
In tact Geode!
Smashing it was fun.  He needed a little help from Mommy.

Jack- March 20th 2013

Jack is all ready for his school's class picture today.  He dressed himself.  He told me that he was saving this shirt for picture day because he wanted to look handsome.  Mission accomplished:)

Our not-so-squirrel-proof bird feeder.

Behavior Jars- March 15th, 2013

We made some behavior jars because the boy's behavior has been less than exemplary the past few month.  Stay tuned to see how they are working out!

They got to decorate their own jar with glass crayons and markers.

They lose two marbles for bad behavior and gain one marble for good behavior.  They sat down and came up with these list of what is good behavior vs. bad behavior.

Wow!  Totally blew an entire year of blogging.  So for last year, I will just be making a photo book.  Chalk it up to the stress of having to move suddenly and having two kids now involved in sporting activities.  Our lives just got a lot busier!  Jack had a great season of basketball and Drew got to take a basketball/soccer class that he enjoys.  Spring soccer season is next!  I hope to keep everyone updated more on the goings on of our family this year!
